Adventure, creativity and interaction describe my outlook. I try to combine these three attributes in order to give purpose to my retirement from public education. I seek opportunities to work in education: I tutor adult ESL and work with immigrant students learning to read. And of course I enjoy working with our scholarship recipients. I also keep involved with my city and neighborhood by volunteering as needed. I love to work with my hands and to view problems in a creative way so there are arts and crafts throughout the house. My adventurous spirit allows me to try new experiences both locally and far away. I love the outdoors: hiking, kayaking, walking, and gardening. I get to eat healthy and enjoy the bounty of my backyard. I am indeed blessed.
